Where Nature becomes strength\u2026 and the forest a shield<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first glance, Trambesere looks like a peaceful mountain village. But all it takes is to lift your eyes to see that here, living alongside Nature has always meant facing constant challenges. The landscape tells a story of adaptation and resilience -of a community that learned to listen to the mountains and find ways to live safely among them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the centuries, avalanches and floods from the Ayasse stream have deeply affected life in this area. People still remember the dramatic events of 1848 and 1918, when avalanches swept down not far from here, between Trambesere, Savin, and Pialemont. Yet despite the hardship, the locals never gave up. They learned to read the avalanche paths – like the Valaill de la Corbatseiri<\/em> and the Valey de la Cota<\/em> – and to build only where the mountain allowed. They made the forest their greatest ally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forest protects. Always.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its roots hold the soil in place. Its trunks slow down avalanches, absorb water, and prevent erosion and landslides. That\u2019s why, in past centuries, cutting trees near villages was strictly forbidden. It wasn\u2019t just about conservation\u2014it was about survival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the mountain is also watched from above.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the work of the Regional Operations Centre, AINEVA, and the Forest Rangers of the Aosta Valley, every storm is monitored and every risk assessed. When an alert is issued, forest officers inspect the terrain step by step – they observe, measure, and act. But the core principle remains unchanged: true protection begins with attentive listening to the land.Walking through Trambesere means crossing a living landscape<\/strong>, shaped by natural forces and human wisdom. Here, every stone, every tree, every trail bears witness to an ancient dialogue – between those who live here, and those who protect. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
