The variant path<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The path of \u201cAu fil de l\u2019eau\u201d<\/em> can, at a certain point, widen. Like a stream that splits, this loop variant starts from the Moulin bridge and climbs up the sunny side of the valley \u2013 the Adret<\/em> \u2013 crossing the hamlets of Rosier, Mellier, and Echelly, before rejoining the road and descending back to the starting point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, the landscape changes: the woods open up, the light accompanies your steps, and from above your gaze embraces the lower hamlets of Champorcher, like a mosaic of stories interwoven at the bottom of the valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Switching to the opposite slope also means meeting new plant presences: notice how the forest transforms, hosting sun-loving species such as Scots pine and larch. Silent signs of the dialogue between exposure, soil, and history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A stretch of about 3.5 km, 350 meters of elevation gain, and around one hour and forty minutes of walking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you choose this detour, do so with an open eye to Nature\u2019s adaptability. The different amount of light changes the forest\u2019s composition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
